About Us
Nicholette Osborne is an accomplished nurse practitioner with over 17 years of paediatric, acute care, adult and primary care nursing experience and education. She has recieved awards for leadership, educating, and examples of exceptional client focused care.
Nicholette is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life and helping to promote a positive self image. Through her study’s on the multiple uses of botox for therapeutic medical treatments, Nicholette grew her interst in the cosmetic aspects of botox and dermal fillers and thus created Subtle Aesthetics Skin Solutions (SASS).
Subtle Aesthetics Skin Solutions is for everybody, we believe in enhancing your natural beauty in a way that makes you feel that your outside matches your inside.

Our Services
Botox/Dysport
Botox/Dysport can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and make your skin appear smoother.
Botox and Dysport are both made from a naturally occurring protein that is purified and produced by the Clostridium Botulinum bacterium. It is used in very small doses to prevent specific muscles from contracting. They are essentially the same product with only slight differences, Dysport’s protein is slightly smaller, which allows for it to take effect faster. Botox is a neuromodulator which means it blocks the signals from the brain that tells your muscles to contract. Botox has been approved for both cosmetic and medical uses.
Cosmetics- Frown lines, forehead lines, crows feet, eyebrow lift, jowls, lip lines, chin, neck, droopy corners of the mouth, bunny lines (scrunch lines on the bridge of the nose) , jaw reshaping

Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are made with Hyaluronic acid gels whose structural elements are identical to that found in human skin. This reduces the chances of having allergic reactions leaving you with results are lasting and which look natural.
Dermal fillers help to restore the lost skin volume and increase skin smoothness and glow.
Dermal fillers are used to replemish volume in Cheeks , Nasolabial lines, and chin.
Lip Augmentation- Next to eyes, our lips are one of the main focal points on our face. If our lips are not proportionate, if we have a gummy smile or as we age, similar to the rest of our skin, our lips can lose volume. Dermal fillers can help to restore or add volume, shape and proportion to our facial structure.
Skin boosters
Skin boosters are a form of hyaluranic acid that is thinner and more water based than a regular dermal filler. Skin boosters are used to hydrate and smooth fine lines and skin texture from the inside out by helping your skin build collagen and elasticity to get its natural glow back.
The best results are seen after 3 treatments that are completed one month apart. After the initial treatments, maintenance boosters are only given every 6-12 months as desired to maintain that dewy glow.

Medical Assessment/Diagnoses and Treatment by a Nurse Practitioner
Nurse practitioners (NPs) are Registered Nurses who have expanded their experience with continuing education and training to increase their scope of practice allowing them to assess, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret labratory tests and imaging, and prescribe medications. Nurse practitioners are not covered by OHIP so an NP must bill patients privately for health care services. Any labratory tests, referrals or diagnostics ordered by an NP are covered by OHIP for the patient.
